FIRE & ICE by mamta kothari was born from a singular belief: that Indian designer jewellery should not be relegated to bank vaults. We design for the modern woman who honors her heritage but lives firmly in the present.
The Founder
Mamta Kothari recognized a gap between heavy, traditional ceremonial wear and the sleek, often soulless modern alternatives. Her vision was to bridge this divide—stripping away the excess weight of antique designs while preserving the masterful techniques of Kundan, Polki, and Meenakari.
Every piece she designs is a conversation between past and present, crafted to be worn, lived in, and eventually passed down.

We do not believe in mass production. Our collections are highly curated edits, focusing on modularity and versatility. A heavy bridal necklace transforms into a delicate evening choker; a statement earring dismantles into a subtle daytime stud.

The Craft
We work exclusively with master Kaarigars, artisans whose families have been setting stones and pouring enamel for generations. We honor their time-tested methods, but we challenge them with contemporary geometries and lighter, more breathable frameworks.
